Bloody Mimosa photoHalloween will be here in just a few short days, are you ready?!  Eeek!  I honestly love this holiday.  I love the pumpkins, the spooky decorations, and I love getting festive with different food and drink concoctions!

I created this amazingly delicious, simple {and healthier of course} cocktail to help you celebrate!  If you’re throwing a Halloween party, in need of an idea to bring to a party or just staying in to watch scary movies all night, this spelltacular cocktail is for you!  Another awesome idea would be to throw a girls’ Halloween Brunch and include this Bloody Mimosa along with some other creepy dishes!

I used beautiful blood oranges to create a bloody spin on your typical mimosa.  So, this is not your average mimosa ghouls! Freshly squeezed blood oranges, your favorite champagne, a natural sweetener and some spices make this your new Halloween go-to spirit.

Servings: 1 cocktail

1 blood orange
Your favorite champagne
1/8 tsp vanilla
1 drop liquid stevia {I love the Sweet Leaf brand}
Dash of cinnamon

1. Juice your blood orange.
2. Pour champagne to fill half the glass. Then pour in the blood orange juice. I like to basically make mine half champagne and half juice, but go with whatever measurements you typically like for your mimosa.
3. Stir in the vanilla, stevia and cinnamon.
4. Enjoy!
