Lavender is amazing for beauty and skincare. It boosts the circulatory system which can help in decreasing wrinkles and fine lines. Lavender also promotes healthy hair and hair growth. Additionally, lavender is known for relieving tension and stress, which is essential in order to slow down the aging process.

What you need:

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 banana
  • 2 handfuls baby spinach
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1-2 tablespoons flax seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon bee pollen
  • 1-2 drops lavender essential oil*

*You want to make sure your lavender essential oil is therapeutic grade. If your lavender oil says not for internal use, it is not considered a pure oil. Pure lavender oil is edible. I use Young Living Lavender Essential Oil.

Blend all ingredients together in a high-speed blender, and enjoy immediately!

A quick recipe note:

Begin with just one drop of lavender essential oil to see if that’s just right for your taste. Then if you’d like a little more lavender next time, go for two drops!

Enjoy in a champagne glass if you’re feeling extra fancy!

Cheers to you, lovely lavender + fancy smoothies,
